Hi! I’m Alex Volkova, a 3D Animator and Artist based in Toronto, Canada. My artistic journey began in my early childhood when I realized that my love for art and animated films was quickly becoming my dream profession. To this day, I feel incredibly lucky to be able to do a job that brings me so much joy and satisfaction.
After finishing high school, I had the opportunity to study Art and Animation at the Higher School of Economics. It gave me a firm grasp of Graphic Design, Illustration, and a variety of animation techniques. After two years of studying, I firmly decided that I wanted to dive into 3D Animation, which led me to Humber College, where I earned my Advanced Diploma certificate in 3D Animation.
I was fortunate to be a part of a number of creative animated projects where I gained hands-on experience in working as a team and developing completed animated shorts.
Apart from animation, I have been taking freelance commission work for digital illustrations, involving drawing various characters and painting backgrounds.
